Police are investigating a serious crash at Goolwa Beach this evening.
About 9pm Friday 17 November emergency services were called to Beach Road after a pedestrian was struck by a car.
The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and is being airlifted to Flinders Medical Centre.
The driver of the car was detained at the scene by local police.
Beach Road is currently closed. Major Crash Investigators are heading to the scene. Please avoid the area.
No further details are known at this time and more updates will be provided in the coming hours.
