Police arrest four teens in Taylors Lakes after evading police

Police arrested four teenagers after they evaded police in a stolen car in Melbourne’s northwest this morning.

Werribee police attempted to intercept a white stolen Suzuki Swift at the intersection of Derrimut Road and Sayers Road in Tarneit just before 11am.

The female driver sped off and was followed by police on the ground with the assistance of the Air Wing through the Melton, Sunshine and Werribee areas.

The car was dumped in Village Avenue in Taylors Lakes where two boys and two females, all from Point Cook were arrested about 11.50am.

The driver, a 17-year-old girl, her female passenger aged 14 and two male passengers aged 15 and 12 are all currently in custody.
