Police arrest man after incident at Seaton, South Australia

Police have arrested a man for aggravated robbery following an incident at Seaton today.

Just before 9.30am on Sunday 20 October a man attended at a Matthews Avenue home, threatened the occupant with a knife before stealing his phone, money and his dog.

The man and occupant were known to each other. No one was injured.

Police patrols responded and attended the man’s nearby Seaton home however he refused to come out of the house.

Police negotiators and STAR group officers attended and after several hours, the man was arrested without further incident.

The victim’s dog was returned unharmed along with his other property.

A 34-year-old Seaton man is being interviewed by police and is likely to be charged with aggravated robbery later today.
