Weather Situation: A moist and unstable airmass interacts with a trough and upper disturbance to trigger severe thunderstorms across southern parts of the Simpson this evening.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds, large hailstones and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours.
Locations which may be affected include Kulgera, Finke, Santa Teresa, Titjikala and Simpson District east of Finke
