A man has been arrested following a police operation on Walker Street, Rhodes, today.
About 8.20am (Wednesday 13 May 2026), police were called to a unit complex on Walker Street, Rhodes, following reports of a man with a firearm.
Officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command attended and with the assistance from officers attached to the Public Order Riot Squad, arrested a 36-year-old man inside a unit about 9.50am.
He was taken to Burwood Police Station where inquiries are continuing.
A crime scene has been established, and detectives commenced an investigation into the incident.
