Police have arrested and charged a Lake Goldsmith man in relation to several recent trailer thefts in the Pyrenees region.
Over the past three weeks police have received at least three reports where a trailer was allegedly stolen.
Information received led to police locating the man at a Lake Goldsmith property on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old was arrested at the scene and has been interviewed and charged with theft, criminal damage, obtain property by deception, driving offences and committing an indictable offence while on bail.
He has been remanded to appear at Ballarat Magistrates’ Court on 27 April.
