Police have arrested a man after a laser was allegedly pointed at a police aircraft earlier this evening.
Members of the Police Air Wing directed ground crews to an address in Riversdale Road, Hawthorn about 8pm after their aircraft was targeted.
Units attended the address and a 56-year-old man was arrested and taken to a local police station for interview.
He is expected to be charged on summons with endangering the safe operation of an aircraft.
