Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives arrested a man and a woman following a series of alleged vehicle thefts in Prahran, Templestowe and Bentleigh East over the past three months.
It is alleged the pair stole three vehicles from residential properties between 3 September and 23 November.
The cars, as well as alleged stolen property and cloned numberplates, were recovered at an accommodation premises in Airlie Grove on 25 November.
A 35-year-old male and a 34-year-old female, both of no fixed address, are assisting police with their enquiries.
