Police arrest three after robbery at Glenelg East, South Australia

Two teenagers and a woman have been arrested after allegedly robbing a man at Glenelg North early this morning.

About 2.30am on Wednesday 15 September, patrols were called to a hotel on Anzac Highway at Glenelg North after reports of a disturbance.

Three people were seen leaving the area and heading towards Wigley Reserve.

On arrival police located a victim on Anzac Highway who had been assaulted nearby and his phone and wallet stolen.

The 42-year-old victim from Glenelg East, suffered head and leg injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Flinders Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Western District patrols along with Dog Operations Unit searched the area. PD Cooper followed a track down Waterloo Street and then onto Ashton Street where he located two girls and one man hiding behind a fence.

A 20-year-old woman from ingle Farm, a 15-year-old girl from Ingle Farm and a 15-year-old boy from Salisbury East were all arrested and are likely to be charged with aggravated robbery.
