Police arrest three after stealing car, South Australia

A man and two boys will face court after stealing a car at Seaford Rise.

Just before 3am this morning (1 August), police were called to Kestrel Circuit, Seaford Rise after an occupant reported hearing there Nissan Navara utility being stolen and colliding with garbage bins as it drove off along the street.

Numerous police quickly began searching the area, and were guided to a location by the victim, who’s GPS tracker indicated the vehicle was on Telegraph Road. Police located the vehicle abandoned on this street and immediately set up cordons.

Police Dog Rusty assisted with the search, and quickly located a 14-year old boy on Flagpole Road. Whilst police were arresting this boy, Police Dog Rusty continued searching and located a 19-year old man and a 13-year-old boy hiding in the yard of premises on the street. They were also arrested.

The 13-year old boy from Morphett Vale and a 14-year-old boy from Burton are expected to be charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle and theft.

The 19-year old man from Seaford Meadows has been charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle and theft. He has been refused bail and will appear in Christies Beach Magistrates Court later today.
