Police arrest three males after robbery and aggravated burglary in Sunshine

Police have arrested three males after two separate incidents in Sunshine last night.

The first incident occurred when the three males approached a man riding his bicycle and allegedly pushed him off the bike on Ballarat Road, Sunshine North about 10.45pm.

It’s believed the males then rifled through the victim’s clothing and pockets searching for valuables however they fled empty-handed.

Fortunately, the victim, a man in his 50s, wasn’t physically injured during the incident.

A short time later, it’s alleged the three males then entered a house in Lynch Street, Sunshine and were confronted by a resident. The males fled with several stolen items including a mobile phone.

Fortunately, the residents weren’t physically injured.

Police patrolling the area arrested the males without incident in George Street.

The males, aged 21, 18 and 16 are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
