Police arrest two men after Doncaster East death

Detectives from the Homicide Squad have this morning arrested two men after the death of a man whose body was found in Doncaster East on Monday.

With the assistance of Manningham Crime Investigation Unit, two warrants were executed in Doncaster early this morning.

Two men from Doncaster, a 33-year-old and a 35-year-old, were arrested and interviewed.

Both have subsequently been released pending further enquiries.

The activity follows an incident where emergency services were called to Tidcombe Crescent shortly before 5.50am on Monday morning to reports a man had been located deceased.

Police will allege the 76-year-old Blackburn North man had been fatally struck by a vehicle.

A white truck was also seized on Wednesday morning outside a Frederick Street, Doncaster address.

It will now undergo forensic examination.
