Police arrest youth over early morning break-ins

A teenager has been arrested following a break-in at Lightsview and Semaphore South overnight.

Between 7pm Monday 13 November and 8.30am Tuesday 14 November, a home at Lightsview was broken into and the owners Toyota Camry was stolen. CCTV showed a man inside the premises while the occupants were asleep.

The stolen Toyota was located in Kent Street, Mansfield Park about 9.30am this morning.

Later this afternoon, police attended a home at Holden Hill and arrested a 17- year-old boy over the incident.

Police have also linked the youth to a break-in and theft that occurred at a Semaphore South home early this morning.

The Frewville teen was charged with two counts of serious criminal trespass and two counts of theft. He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court tomorrow.

Police are investigating if the incidents are also linked to the break-in at Vale Park where a Porsche was stolen and found abandoned at Holden Hill this morning.
