Homicide Squad detectives have today charged a man following the death of a man in Swan Hill in 2019.
A 57-year-old Swan Hill man has been charged with one count of negligent manslaughter.
He will face Bendigo Magistrates’ Court today.
The charge follows the death of a 20-year-old Swan Hill man after an alleged brawl at a licensed premises on Campbell Street on 19 January, 2019.
Detectives from Swan Hill Crime Investigation Unit previously charged three men in relation to the incident.
The men were charged with a number of assault-related offences in October last year.
As this matter is now before the court, it would be inappropriate for police to comment further.
