Ballarat Sexual Offence and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives have charged a man following a report of a sexual assault in Bacchus Marsh two weeks ago.
The incident occurred at a Lerderderg Street address on 27 March.
Detectives arrested the 45-year-old man on 3 April and have since charged him with three counts of sexual assault.
He was bailed to appear at Ballarat Magistrates’ Court on 7 July.
