A man has been charged by Homicide Squad detectives following the death of another man at a hotel in Creswick on this morning.
It will be alleged an altercation between two men took place at the Albert Street hotel just before 2am.
A 39-year-old Creswick man died at the scene.
A 41-year-old man presented at a local police station about 6.30am and has since been charged with manslaughter.
The man is expected to face Ballarat Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
