Police charge man after double shooting in Sunshine

Armed Crime Squad detectives have charged a 53-year-old man after two men were located with gunshot wounds in Sunshine on 3 November.

The Sunshine North man has been charged with two counts of conduct endangering life, two counts of intentionally cause injury, two counts of assault, one count of prohibited person use firearm and one count of intentionally cause serious injury.

He was remanded by police to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

The charges relate to the non-fatal shooting of two men, aged 36 and 40, in the vicinity of Devonshire and Hampshire roads about 2.40am.

Both men have since been released from hospital.
