Police made a swift arrest in Melton yesterday afternoon following reports a man was exposing himself on the street.
Officers were called to Northcott Street around 2pm after reports a man was exposing himself towards others.
Police quickly responded, patrolling the area and arrested a man nearby.
Melton Crime Investigation Unit detectives charged the 51-year-old man of no fixed address with sexual activity in the presence of a child under the age of 16 and sexual exposure.
He was remanded to appear before Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 8 June.
