Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of another man in Maidstone last night.
Police were called to a Fisher Street address after a man was discovered with stab wounds about 6.50pm.
He was declared deceased at the scene.
Two Maidstone men, aged 26 and 21, were arrested at the scene.
The 26-year-old man was interviewed by police and has been charged with one count of murder.
He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court shortly.
The 21-year-old was release from custody pending further enquiries.
