Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the deaths of two people in Mount Waverley last night.
Officers were called to an address in Adrienne Crescent where a 39-year-old Mount Waverley woman and a 50-year-old Mount Waverley man were located deceased about 9.55pm.
A 34-year-old man was arrested at Westall train station about 1.40am this morning.
The man, who is of no fixed address, has since been charged with two counts of murder.
He will appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 13 August.
