Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of a man in Numurkah last night.
A 58-year-old Caniambo man has been charged with one count of murder.
He will face Shepparton Magistrates’ Court shortly.
The charge follows an incident about 8.50pm on 5 August where a 55-year-old Numurkah man was fatally shot outside his property on Prentice Lane.
Both parties are believed to be known to each other.
