Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of a woman in Springvale last week.
A 20-year-old Springvale man was arrested this afternoon in the Melbourne CBD.
He was subsequently interviewed by police and charged with murder.
The man will face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tonight.
The charge follows an incident on Thursday, 10 February where a 41-year-old Springvale woman was located deceased inside her Glendale Road address.
The parties involved in the matter were known to each other and police are not looking for anyone else at this time.
