Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following an alleged stabbing in Melbourne’s CBD last night.
A 37-year-old man was allegedly stabbed on Elizabeth Street about 9.20pm on Wednesday 22 November.
He remains in hospital in a critical condition.
A 21-year-old Altona Meadows man was arrested shortly after.
The man has been charged with intentionally cause serious injury, recklessly cause serious injury and possess controlled weapon.
The man will appear before the Melbourne Magistrate’s Court later today.
