A 37 year old Howrah man has been charged with wounding following an incident in Howrah overnight.
About 10pm yesterday, two men were allegedly assaulted in Lara St, Howrah by a man carrying a knife. Both victims were taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital and were treated for non life threatening injuries.
Parties involved in the incident are known to one another and there is no threat to the wider community.
The 37 year old man has been charged with two counts of wounding and will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court at 9.30am on 2 June.
