Police charge man over offensive behaviour towards teen girls on bus in Casula

A man has been charged after allegedly behaving in an offensive manner towards two teenage girls on a bus in Sydney’s south west.

About 4.15pm yesterday (Wednesday 27 May 2020), a man boarded a bus at Liverpool Interchange and sat opposite two girls, both aged 16.

Police will allege the man spoke to the girls about sexually explicit acts he wished to undertake.

The girls exited the bus on the Hume Highway, near Graham Avenue, and officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command were notified.

Following inquiries, a 46-year-old man was arrested at a motel on the Hume Highway about 7.40pm the same day.

He was taken to Liverpool Police Station and charged with behave in offensive manner in a public place and two counts of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm (personal).

The Liverpool man was refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court today (Thursday 28 May 2020).
