A 19-year-old man from Wynyard has been charged with multiple burglary and stealing offences relating to unlocked cars and a shed in Wynyard.
On Tuesday, Detectives from Burnie CIB executed a search warrant in Wynyard. A man was later arrested and charged with 4 counts of burglary and 4 counts of stealing.
The man was bailed to appear before the Burnie Magistrates Court on 15 November 2022.
It is a timely reminder of the importance of locking vehicles when they are not in use, to avoid becoming an easy target. All targeted vehicles on this occasion were left unlocked.
Police would like to thank members of the public who provided information.
