Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man with murder following the death of a man in Oakleigh last month.
Emergency services were called to Atherton Road around 7.55pm on 29 June, following reports of a fight between a group of people.
20-year-old Springvale man Thomas Tran died at the scene.
An 18-year-old Dandenong man will appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
An 18-year-old and a 19-year-old male from Dandenong, as well as a 20-year-old male from Dandenong South were arrested and have been released pending further investigation.
