Mernda Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives have charged a teenage boy who allegedly exposed himself to a mother and child in Preston last week.
Police will allege the incident occurred near Murray Road, in the vicinity of the Preston Railway Station, just after 2pm on Wednesday, 28 February.
The 17-year-old Wollert boy self-presented at a police station yesterday.
He has been charged with sexual activity directed at another person and sexual activity in the presence of a child under 16 years.
He will appear at a children’s court at a later date.
