Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives charged a teenage boy following a number of sexual assaults this year.
It is alleged the boy touched the buttocks of 11 women while he was riding a scooter in the Fitzroy area between 22 July and 9 September.
The women were not physically injured during the incidents.
A 15-year-old Fitzroy boy has been charged with eight counts of sexual assault and was bailed to appear before a children’s court at a later date.
