Homicide Squad detectives have charged two teenage boys following the death of a woman in Abbotsford on Wednesday night.
A 15-year-old Abbotsford boy and 14-year-old Ascot Vale boy were both charged this evening with one count of murder.
The charges relate to the death of a woman who was located seriously injured at a Stafford Street address about 11.10pm on 5 April.
The 41-year-old was conveyed to hospital however passed away shortly after as a result of her injuries.
A 13-year-old boy who had also been at the residence was not physically injured.
The charged teens will appear before a children’s court at a later date.
