Investigators from the Drug Taskforce have charged two males following the discovery of a large quantity of drugs during a routine intercept.
Officers pulled the vehicle over on the Hume Highway about 11.20am.
A subsequent search of the car located a large quantity of what is alleged to be methylamphetamine.
The drugs and the car were seized, and the two New South Wales men were arrested.
The 37-year-old and 29-year-old Liverpool men have been charged with offences including trafficking a large commercial quantity of methylamphetamine, trafficking heroin and trafficking cocaine.
They have been remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 13 May.
