Police charge two teens after Maribyrnong affray

Police have charged two teenagers following an assault in Maribyrnong on 8 June.

A 14-year-old boy from St Albans and a 13-year-old boy from Manor Lakes have both been charged with affray.

They have been bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date

It’s alleged the 13-year-old victim was assaulted by a group of teens that occurred at a shopping centre bus stop on Rosamond Road about 3.30pm.

Police are still hoping to identify one offender in relation to the incident.

He is perceived to be African in appearance and aged in his teens.

He was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans and had short black hair.
