Homicide Squad Detectives have charged a woman following a fatal stabbing in Mount Helen this morning.
The 38-year-old Mount Helen woman has been charged with one count of murder.
She has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Ballarat Magistrates’ court on 30 December.
It is alleged the woman stabbed a 47-year-old man at a property on Park Lane just before 8am on Saturday, 28 December.
Emergency services attended and performed CPR, but the Mount Helen man died at the scene.
Officers arrested the woman at the property, who was known to the deceased.
