A woman has been arrested and charged over an alleged break, enter and steal at Walgett yesterday.
Officers from Central North Police District were called to a home on Warrena Street about 7pm (Wednesday 27 September 2023), after a man was allegedly assaulted in his home by three women.
The 41-year-old man was not seriously injured and did not require medical treatment.
Following inquiries, a woman, also aged 41, was arrested charged with enter dwelling and commit serious indictable offence, common assault, intimidation, armed with intent, and larceny.
She has been granted bail to appear in Walgett Local Court on 10 October 2023.
