A woman will face court after being charged with high-range drink-driving in Sydney’s south yesterday afternoon.
About 3.30pm (Wednesday 9 December 2020), officers attached to Sutherland Highway Patrol were called to Gymea Bay Road, Gymea, following reports a woman was attempting to drive while allegedly intoxicated.
Police attended and subjected a 37-year-old woman to a roadside breath test, which proved positive.
She was arrested and taken to Miranda Police Station where she underwent to a breath analysis which returned an alleged reading of 0.222.
The woman has now been charged with drive with high-range PCA; her licence was immediately suspended.
The Engadine woman has been issued a field court attendance notice to appear at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday 21 January 2021.
