Police continue to appeal to locate woman missing from Merrylands

Police are re-appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney’s west.

Angum Benjament, aged 29, was last seen at a home on Cambridge Street, Merrylands, about 10am on Wednesday 25 January 2023.

When family were unable to locate or contact her, officers from Cumberland Police Area Command were notified on Monday 6 February 2023 and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold serious concerns for her welfare.

Angum is described as being of African appearance, about 165cm-170cm tall, of thin build, with black hair.

She was last seen wearing a red and black dress.

Angum is known to frequent the Merrylands, Clyde, Granville, Ashcroft and Ropes Crossing areas.

Police have received information that she may also be in the Yerrinbool, Southern Highlands, Seven Hills or Liverpool areas.
