Homicide Squad detectives are investigating following the death of a man in Alexandra this morning.
Emergency services were called to an address on Bayley Street following reports of an altercation about 1.40am.
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A 62-year-old Alexandra man was arrested at the address and remains in custody.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and the investigation remains ongoing.
