Police investigate armed robbery at Browns Plains 3 November

Police are reviewing CCTV after three men entered a store at Browns Plains and used a cricket bat to smash glass display cabinets to steal jewellery.

Around 10.10am on November 2 three men entered the Grand Plaza Drive business, one armed with a cricket bat, another armed with a knife with the third man being unarmed.

A cricket bat was used to smash the glass cabinets and a quantity of jewellery was removed while the man with the knife made verbal threats towards staff and customers inside the store.

A cash register near the doorway was also stolen by the men as the left the store.

The men were observed to get into a white Subaru Outback with Queensland registration 422 YWZ.

This vehicle had been stolen from a house at Fig Tree Pocket between 9.30pm on October 29 and 6.20am on October 30. It is yet to be located.

No one was physically injured in the incident.
