Police investigate armed robbery at Burleigh Heads 29 November

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a liquor store in Burleigh Heads on November 28.

Initial investigations indicate a man entered the business on West Street around 10pm and threatened a staff member with a knife, demanding cash.

Once the employee complied, the man fled on foot with a sum of cash and two bottles of liquor.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The offender is described as being Caucasian in appearance, in his early 20s and was wearing a dark green hoodie, dark long pants, white shoes and a face mask.

Anyone with information that could assist with investigations, including relevant CCTV or dashcam, is urged to contact police.
