Police investigate armed robbery at Forest Lake

Police are seeking assistance from the public to help locate a man who robbed a woman at knife point in Forest Lake overnight.

At 8.15pm a woman was sitting at a bus stop on Forest Lake Boulevard, when a man confronted her with a knife and demanded her phone.

The woman complied and the man who is described as being a thin build, wearing a black jumper and track pants, was last seen running down Forest Lake Boulevard.

The woman, who was not known to the man, was not physically injured.

Police located the mobile phone in a rubbish bin in a park on the corner of Joseph Banks, and Woodland Avenues, Forest Lake.

Police are requesting anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have dash cam footage, to contact police.
