Police investigate armed robbery at Marsden

Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a fast food business in Marsden overnight.

At 9:40pm a man entered the store on Chambers Flat Road armed with a screwdriver.

The man demanded money from staff members, before fleeing the scene with a sum of cash.

No one was physically injured during the robbery.

The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 170cm tall and of a slim build.

He was last seen wearing dark clothes.

Investigations are continuing.
