Police investigate armed robbery at Rockhampton

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station at Rockhampton yesterday afternoon.

At 2pm, two men entered the Aquatic Place business, one with a knife and the other with a piece of wood and demanded goods and money.

The attendant complied with the demands and the men left the shop towards Kershaw Gardens, with a sum of cash.

The first man is described as late teens to early 20s, wearing a black bucket hat, black shorts, a dark blue t-shirt, white shoes and white socks. He was carrying a knife.

The second man is described as late teens to early 20s, wearing a baseball cap, a green singlet, black shorts, black socks and black shoes. He was carrying a piece of wood.

Officers patrolled the surrounding area but were unable to locate the men.

Investigations into the matter are continuing.
