Police investigate armed robbery at Stafford

Police are investigating an armed robbery in the car park of a fast food outlet at Stafford last night.

Around 10pm, a 60-year-old man was sitting in his Holden Commodore near Stafford Road when a man approached the car, opened the passenger door and threatened him with a knife.

A second man opened the driver’s door and dragged the driver out of the car.

The driver sustained grazing and abrasions.

The two men fled in the car.

Investigations are continuing.
