Police Investigate Armed Robbery In Wodonga

Wodonga Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Wodonga on Sunday.

It is understood six unknown males armed with knives and machetes approached two men at the intersection of Williams and Brockley streets about 2am on 3 March.

Officers have been told the males made demands for the pair’s phones, keys, vape and sunglasses, before threatening to stab one of the men.

The group fled on foot towards Hume Street with a number of the pair’s personal items.

The men from Wodonga, aged 27 and 33, were not injured.

One of the males is described as being approximately 177cms tall and was wearing a grey hooded jumper and grey tracksuit pants.

A second male is described as being approximately 187cms tall and was wearing a black hooded jumper, a black face mask and grey pants.
