Police investigate attempted armed robbery at Murrumba Downs

Police investigating the attempted armed robbery of a business in Murrumba Downs late last night, have released vision.

Just before 11.30pm, a man approached the locked glass doors to the tavern, which is located on the corner of Dohles Rocks and Ogg Roads.

He then fired a firearm into the glass doors causing extensive damage.

The man, who is described as Caucasian and was barefoot at the time, was last seen running through the car park at the rear of the business.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing with police seeking assistance from members of the public to help identify him.

Anyone with further CCTV or dashcam vision of the area at the time is asked to contact police.
