Police investigate carjacking in Bundoora

Whittlesea Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a carjacking in Bundoora last week.

Investigators have been told the victim, a 53-year-old Bundoora woman, parked her vehicle, a 2015 Audi A4, registered V INK, on Scholar Drive on Thursday 27 June at 8pm.

After getting out of her car and attempting to cross the road, the victim was approached by two masked offenders.

One of the offenders threatened the victim and demanded that she hand over her car keys.

After obtaining the keys, the offenders got into the woman’s car and drove off.

A second vehicle, a late model Blue Range Rover Sport, with no registration plates, was seen driving off behind the victim’s car.

Detectives have released a computer-generated image of one of the offenders and are appealing to anyone who witnessed or has any information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
