Mitchell Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding two unit fires in Kilmore this morning.
Emergency Services were called to the Royal Parade retirement village following reports the residential units had become engulfed in flames just after 6am.
A resident is yet to be accounted for.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and a crime scene has been established.
It is expected detectives from the Arson and Explosives Squad and an arson chemist will attend the property this morning.
