Reservoir police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a motorbike and trailer in Bundoora earlier this month.
Investigators have been told an unknown male attended a carpark at a university in Kingsbury Drive just before 12.40pm in a silver Toyota Hilux ute which is believed to be stolen.
It’s understood the offender removed the grey box trailer carrying a blue Yamaha WR450F registered 5674E from the victim’s vehicle and attached it to his own before driving away.
Investigators have released an image of the vehicle driving with the stolen items, in the hope of identifying its occupant, who investigators believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
