Police investigate Norlane home invasion

Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a home invasion which occurred in Norlane overnight.

The incident took place at an address on Melbourne Road when three masked men forced their way into the home around 2am.

Once inside the address the men ransacked the house and assaulted one of the two occupants, a 28-year-old man.

The second occupant, a 62-year-old man, was not injured.

The burglars spent 25 minutes inside the home, stealing personal items and two vehicles, a white 2012 Mitsubishi Triton utility with registration number 1LB 4WL with Barwon Traffic Management signage and a blue 1999 Holden Rodeo utility with registration QLZ121.

The man who was assaulted was conveyed to hospital with non-life-threatening facial injuries.

Investigators believe the home invasion was targeted.
