Police are searching for a man following an assault at a Ballarat hotel on 22 February.
It is believed the 31-year-old victim from Western Australia was assaulted inside the Mair Street establishment about 11.30pm and again outside the venue a short time later.
The victim walked to hospital where he sought treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators have released images and CCTV footage of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.
The man police wish to speak to is perceived to be aged in his 20s with a thin build and short blond hair.
At the time he was wearing a dark short-sleeved shirt with denim shorts.
